Meet The Directors

GINA TILLMAN-YOUNG (most call her Pastor Gina) is the director of Genesis Christian Academy at Everything Jesus! Ranch. In addition to her educational role and her pastoral responsibilities, she is the head chef of the ranch restaurant, a responsibility she enjoys immensely.

As a pastor and mother of ten, Pastor Gina’s personal and pastoral experience confirms that in a Christ-centered environment, all children can exceed their highest expectations of accomplishment, through Christ Jesus who strengthens them (Philip. 4:13).

For almost two decades, Gina has served as pastor of Genesis Christian Church (GCC). She was the director of the first Genesis Christian Academy established in St. Kitts-Nevis, a tiny federation in the Eastern Caribbean. It was there that Pastor Gina first successfully introduced teaching methodologies that were effective in accelerating learning and increasing retention in students of all ages and abilities.

Pastor Gina’s professional history combines over twenty years experience in pastoral and Christian counseling ministry in Boston, Princeton, and Washington DC, as well as proprietorship of several commercial and non-profit enterprises, both in the U.S. and abroad.

In 1981, Pastor Gina received a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, upon completion of joint studies in law and divinity, in affiliation with Harvard Divinity School. That same year, she was ordained in the Baptist ministry. She completed her undergraduate studies at Hampton University, graduating summa cum laude in 1977.

Pastor Gina loves serving in international missions. She is multilingual and has lived, traveled and studied throughout the world. Her background includes theater, painting, culinary arts, and fine arts, all of which she integrates into GCA’s curriculum. She plays the flute and is a songwriter and playwright. She has produced and directed several musical dramas for stage and Caribbean television. She is passionately committed to encouraging youth to be Christian non-conformists, transformed by the renewal of their minds (Romans 12:1-2).

Pastor Gina is married to Edward D. Young, III. They have ten children—seven biological and three adopted—and have served as custodians to several additional children from various parts of the world.

Ms. Isaac specializes in reading methodology. She received undergraduate degrees in music and education at Valsayn Teachers College in Trinidad, and Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He also has an immigration practice, and is a happy organic rancher, who runs MooJesus! Dairy, oversees the operations of Everything Jesus! Ranch and conducts sustainability training for missionaries, and Genesis Christian Academy students.

In 2004, Edward heard God’s call to full-time ministry and retired from his position as senior vice president of Verizon Washington corporate office after an illustrious 20-year career with the company and its predecessors. During his career, Edward won regulatory approval for Bell Atlantic's Caller ID service - the first in the world. He was also successful in convincing the FCC not to regulate high-speed data services. This paved the way for the Internet. In 2000, he won approval of the Bell Atlantic-GTE merger that created Verizon.

Edward has testified before Congress and state legislatures. He has taught Administrative Law at Seton Hall University School of Law. He has served as a consultant to other countries seeking to change their telecommunications laws.
